Flooring Guide by Cinvex – JAKARTA – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has released stock trading data for the period of August 25–29, 2025. The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed at 7,830, a decrease of 0.36 percent compared to the previous week’s level of 7,858. However, market capitalization edged up by 0.36 percent to Rp 14,182 trillion from Rp 14,131 trillion.
“The majority of stock trading data on the IDX this week closed positively. The highest increase occurred in the average daily transaction value, rising 40.69 percent to Rp 25.22 trillion from Rp 17.92 trillion in the previous week,” the IDX wrote in a statement on Friday (August 29, 2025).
The average daily transaction volume increased by 19.56 percent to 47.19 billion shares from 39.47 billion shares. The daily transaction frequency also increased by 8.80 percent to 2.31 million times from 2.12 million times in the previous week.
Despite closing lower, both the IHSG and market capitalization briefly recorded all-time highs (ATH). On Thursday (August 28, 2025), the IHSG closed at 7,952, surpassing the previous record of 7,943 on August 20, 2025. Market capitalization on the same day also reached a new record of Rp 14,377 trillion.
Furthermore, the daily transaction frequency hit an ATH on Friday (August 29, 2025) with 2.49 million transactions, exceeding the previous record of 2.36 million transactions on Monday (August 25, 2025).
From the investor side, foreign investors recorded a net sell of Rp 1.12 trillion on Friday’s trading. Year-to-date, foreign net selling reached Rp 50.95 trillion.
Throughout the week, the IDX also recorded two new bonds and one new sukuk. The first was the Sustainable Bonds II Provident Investasi Bersama Phase V 2025, valued at Rp 420 billion with a rating of idA (Single A) from Pefindo. The second was the Sustainable Bonds I Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mills Phase III 2025, valued at Rp 1.3 trillion. The third was the Sustainable Mudharabah Sukuk I Phase III 2025, valued at Rp 750 billion. The latter two instruments received ratings of idA+ (sy) from Pefindo and irAA- from KRI.
With these additions, a total of 122 emissions from 68 issuers have been recorded throughout 2025, with a total value of Rp 138.84 trillion.
Overall, there are 635 outstanding bond and sukuk emissions with an outstanding value of Rp 513.93 trillion and USD 117.27 million from 137 issuers.
In addition, the IDX recorded 200 series of State Securities (SBN) worth Rp 6,360.61 trillion and USD 502.10 million, as well as seven issues of Asset-Backed Securities (EBA) with a value of Rp 2.13 trillion.
