JAKARTA – Here’s a look at the stock trading holiday schedule for the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during September 2025.
According to the 2025 Exchange Holiday Calendar, as of Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, the BEI will be closed on Friday, September 5th, 2025. This holiday coincides with the Commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday (Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW).
Consequently, stock trading on the exchange will resume on Monday, September 8th, 2025.

As previously reported, stock trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange has been operating as usual since Monday, September 1st, 2025.

The BEI is always committed to ensuring that Indonesian capital market activities run in an orderly, fair, and efficient manner,” said Kautsar Primadi Nurahmad, Corporate Secretary of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, on Sunday, August 31st, 2025.

Meanwhile, the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) opened higher on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, driven by large-cap stocks such as ANTM, BRMS, BBCA and BBRI.
Based on RTI Business data at 09:02 WIB, the IHSG opened up 1.11% or 85.55 points to 7,821. A total of 384 stocks opened higher, 69 stocks fell, and 141 remained unchanged.

Several stocks driving the IHSG’s rise today included PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. (ANTM), which rose 5.31% or 170 points to Rp3,370. Then there was PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk. (BRMS), which rose 5.04% or 24 points to Rp500. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BBCA) also strengthened by 1.88% or 150 points to Rp8,150.
Furthermore, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBRI) also rose 1.51% or 60 points to Rp4,040. PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. (BMRI) strengthened by 1.52% or 70 points to Rp4,670. PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk. (WIFI) also crept up 2.77% or 70 points to Rp2,600.
Conversely, a number of stocks that fell at market opening included PT MAP Boga Adiperkasa Tbk. (MAPB), which fell 5.14% or 90 points to Rp1,660, and PT Arkora Hydro Tbk. (ARKO), which fell 2.89% or 35 points to Rp1,175.
