JAKARTA – Jahja Setiaatmadja, President Commissioner of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), has once again increased his stake in the company he leads.
According to official disclosures, Jahja purchased 66,000 BCA shares on September 9, 2025, at a price of Rp7,575 per share. This transaction represents an investment of Rp499.95 million.
Evi Jo, Head of Environmental Social & Governance Subdivision at BCA, stated in a letter to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) that the purpose of the transaction was for investment.

Following this acquisition, Jahja’s total share ownership in BCA has risen to 34,933,644 shares, representing a 0.03% stake. Prior to this transaction, he held 34,867,644 shares, also equivalent to approximately 0.03%. The shares are directly registered in Jahja’s name and classified as common stock.

Just the week before, on September 1, 2025, Jahja also bought 62,500 BBCA shares at a price of Rp7,975 per share. This earlier purchase required an investment of approximately Rp498 million.

“We hereby report the share ownership in the name of Jahja Setiaatmadja,” wrote Corporate Secretary of BCA, I Ketut Alam Wangsawijaya, in an official statement disclosed to the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
However, on August 12, 2025, Jahja reduced his holdings in BBCA, selling one million shares at a price of Rp8,750 per share.

This sale generated Rp8.75 billion for Jahja. “The purpose of the transaction was portfolio diversification,” BCA’s management stated.
In today’s trading session, BBCA shares experienced a positive surge, climbing 3.65%, or 275 points, to reach Rp7,800 per share. Throughout the day, BBCA fluctuated between Rp7,550 and Rp7,800 per share. With the current share price, BCA boasts a market capitalization of Rp951.93 trillion.
