According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), the Business-27 Index, which is a collaborative venture between the exchange and the daily newspaper Bisnis Indonesia, strengthened by 0.19%, concluding the trading session at 532.57. Leading the charge among the advancing stocks was PT Barito Pacific Tbk. (BRPT), an entity linked to Prajogo Pangestu, which surged an impressive 11.87% to reach Rp3,770 per share. Earlier, Reza Priyambada, Director of Reliance Sekuritas Indonesia, offered a technical analysis perspective. He highlighted that the IHSG’s most recent candle formed a bullish harami pattern, consistently staying above the MA5 and MA20 moving averages, and the MACD indicator signaling a golden cross. These technical formations often suggest an upward trend.
“Given these indicators, we project that the IHSG will experience further strengthening today,” Priyambada asserted. He also identified specific stock choices for the day, including BSDE, ASSA, MEDC, and BRIS, as potentially attractive investment options.
Reliance Sekuritas projected the IHSG to navigate within a support level of 8,068 and a resistance level of 8,175, maintaining an overall tendency to strengthen.
