Highest Surge in Average Daily Transaction Frequency
Among the key indicators, the average daily transaction frequency experienced the most significant surge, climbing 6.68 percent to 2.62 million transactions from 2.46 million in the preceding week. The average daily transaction volume on the Exchange also demonstrated growth, rising 5.61 percent to 49.72 billion shares from 47.08 billion shares last week. Conversely, the average daily transaction value at BEI saw an 11.24 percent decrease, settling at IDR 625.02 trillion from IDR 28.19 trillion in the previous week.
Foreign Investors Record IDR 56.71 Trillion in Year-to-Date Net Sell
Looking at investor activity, foreign investors recorded a net buy of IDR 199.79 billion on Friday. However, considering the broader year-to-date trend, foreign investors have registered a cumulative net sell of IDR 56.71 trillion. This year-to-date net sell figure marks an increase from IDR 53.60 trillion recorded just last week, indicating a continued cautious stance from international players in the Indonesian equity market.
