Harapan Group Sells 18.35% Stake in HOPE to Susantin Widjaja

JAKARTA – PT Harapan Duta Pertiwi Tbk. (HOPE), a prominent issuer in the commercial vehicle and truck body manufacturing sector, has announced the arrival of a significant new investor. Susanpin Widjaja has strategically acquired a substantial 18.34% stake in HOPE, marking a notable shift in the company’s ownership landscape.

This major share acquisition stems from a divestment by PT Harapan Group Sukses. According to a disclosure filed with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) by Kevin Jong, Director of PT Harapan Group Sukses, the company executed the sale of 390,781,500 HOPE shares on October 9, 2025.

The divestment transaction was conducted at a price of Rp145 per share, culminating in a total sales value of Rp56.66 billion for the shares offloaded by PT Harapan Group Sukses.

Consequently, PT Harapan Group Sukses’ ownership in HOPE has seen a considerable reduction. Their shareholding diminished from 1.15 billion shares, which previously represented 54.37% of voting rights, to 767.45 million shares, now equivalent to 36.02%.

Concurrently, Susanpin Widjaja, who also holds the position of Director at PT Celebes Mining Resources, confirmed her purchase of the 390.78 million HOPE shares. This transaction firmly establishes her with direct ownership of 18.34% of HOPE’s total voting rights.

Following these significant transactions, the current structure of HOPE’s major shareholders (those holding 5% or more) is as follows: PT Harapan Group Sukses retains 36.02%, Susanpin Widjaja now holds 18.35%, and PT Meranti Samudera Perkasa maintains 5%. The remaining 40.63% of shares are held by public investors, each with a stake of less than 5%.

On the financial front, HOPE has set optimistic targets for the current year. The company aims to achieve a revenue of Rp22 billion, a slight increase from the Rp19.52 billion realized in 2024. From this projected revenue, HOPE is targeting a net profit of Rp510 million, signaling its growth ambitions amidst these ownership changes.
