IHSG melesat 4,45%, saham Prajogo BRPT, PTRO hingga CDIA melaju kencang

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), widely known as IHSG, delivered an impressive performance in today’s trading session on Wednesday, April 8. The benchmark index surged remarkably by 4.45%, or 308.18 points, closing at a robust level of 7,279. This significant market rally was substantially fueled by a powerful upward movement in shares associated with prominent Indonesian conglomerate Prajogo Pangestu.

Among the standout performers linked to the influential business magnate, PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) shares soared by an astounding 20.89%, reaching Rp 1,765. PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) also experienced a substantial leap, climbing 16.11% to Rp 5,225, while PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk (CDIA) recorded a solid gain of 13.71%, closing at Rp 995. These strong results highlighted considerable investor confidence in these key companies.

Data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) reflected an exceptionally active day in the market. The total trading volume for the day reached a staggering 42.90 billion shares, executed across 2.42 million transactions. This vibrant trading activity underscored a strong market engagement, contributing to a substantial market capitalization of Rp 12,774 trillion and a total transaction value of Rp 22.55 trillion.

The positive sentiment was broadly distributed across the exchange, with all sectors on the IDX closing in the green. Leading this comprehensive rally were the Basic Industry sector, which saw an impressive 8.79% increase, the Infrastructure sector, advancing by 6.27%, and the Industrial sector, which also performed strongly with a 6.06% rise. This widespread sectoral growth indicates a healthy and optimistic market outlook.

Further demonstrating the market’s bullish trend, the LQ45 index also recorded a notable increase of 4.56% today. Within this bellwether index, several key stocks posted significant gains. PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares rose by 6.78% to Rp 252, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) strengthened 3.85% to Rp 6,750, and PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA) surged 12.23% to Rp 780. Additionally, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) advanced 8.30% to Rp 6,200, collectively driving the overall market upswing.

In terms of investment value, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) emerged as the most sought-after stock by investors, recording transactions worth Rp 1.74 trillion. It was closely followed by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) with Rp 1.39 trillion in investment, and PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN), which saw a total trading value of Rp 1.26 trillion, indicating areas of high investor interest.
