
Flooring Guide by Cinvex — JAKARTA — The Bisnis-27 Index opened in the red during Friday’s trading session (8/5/2026), dipping to the 480.86 level. The decline was largely driven by downward pressure on key stocks, including ANTM, BRMS, and KLBF.
According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the index—a collaborative benchmark between the exchange and Bisnis Indonesia—settled at 480.86, trading within a range of 477.69 to 481.29 throughout the morning. Out of the 27 constituents, eight stocks managed to trade in positive territory, two remained stagnant, while 17 stocks opened in the red.
Market Movers and Declining Stocks
PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. (ANTM) faced significant selling pressure, with its shares falling 2.58% to Rp3,780. Similarly, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk. (BRMS) of the Bakrie Group saw its share price decline by 2.40% to Rp815. PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. (KLBF) also trended downward, slipping 1.67% to trade at Rp885 per share.
Other notable decliners included MBMA, which fell 1.53% to Rp645; CPIN, dropping 1.42% to Rp4,160; and ICBP, which weakened by 1.39% to Rp7,075 per share.
Selected Gains Amidst Market Volatility
Despite the broader downturn, some stocks managed to buck the trend. PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. (MEDC) saw an uptick of 1.58% to Rp1,610, while PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk. (MAPI) climbed 1.54% to Rp1,315. Additionally, shares of PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk. (MIKA) gained 1.05%, reaching Rp1,930 per share.
IHSG Performance Update
The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) initially opened on a positive note at 7,182.96 before losing momentum and slipping into the red, fluctuating between 7,151 and 7,186. Market breadth remained bearish as 255 stocks declined, compared to 197 gainers and 209 that remained unchanged. Following these movements, the total market capitalization of the IHSG reached Rp12,792 trillion.
