Between May 11 and May 13, 2026, the index slipped into the red, recording a 3.53% correction to settle at 6,723.32. During this period, the exchange’s total market capitalization contracted by IDR 581 trillion, falling to IDR 11,825 trillion.
IDX Corporate Secretary Kautsar Primadi Nurahmad confirmed that the JCI closed at 6,723.32, down from the previous week’s level of 6,936.39. Consequently, the market capitalization saw a 4.68% decline compared to the IDR 12,406 trillion recorded just a week prior.

“The average daily transaction value this week experienced an 18.78% change, down to IDR 18.82 trillion from IDR 23.05 trillion in the prior week,” noted Kautsar on Thursday.
Meanwhile, market participation remained relatively steady, with the average daily transaction frequency decreasing slightly by 0.56% to 2.53 million trades, compared to 2.55 million the previous week.
As of the final trading session on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, foreign investors recorded a net sell of IDR 1.53 trillion. Year-to-date, foreign capital outflows in the Indonesian stock market have reached a total net sell of IDR 40.82 trillion.
