Shareholders of PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk, widely known as Antam (ANTM), have decisively voted for a significant change in the company’s top leadership. Achmad Ardianto has been honorably relieved of his duties as President Director, with the esteemed position now entrusted to Untung Budiharto.
This pivotal decision was formally ratified during Antam’s Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) 2025, which convened today, Monday, December 15th.
Beyond the presidential shift, the company also saw the honorable dismissal of Rauf Purnama, who held the dual roles of President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner. His crucial seat will now be occupied by Irwandy Arif, formerly a respected Commissioner within Antam.
Expressing profound gratitude for their dedicated service, I Dewa Wirantaya, Antam’s Business Development Director, conveyed the appreciation of both the Board of Commissioners and Directors. “Antam’s Board of Commissioners and Directors extend their deepest gratitude to Mr. Rauf and Mr. Achmad Ardianto for their invaluable contributions,” he stated during the EGMS 2025 press conference held at the prestigious Hotel Borobudur in Jakarta on Monday, December 15th.
Profile of Untung Budiharto
The newly appointed President Director, Untung Budiharto, brings a wealth of diverse experience to Antam. Prior to this role, he notably served as the President Commissioner of PT Transportasi Jakarta, better known as Transjakarta, a position he held since June 8, 2023. Untung Budiharto is also a distinguished retired officer of the Indonesian National Army (TNI-AD).
His extensive career in the TNI saw him hold numerous significant posts, including Commander of the Bangka Belitung Military Resort (Danrem), Paban in the Operations Staff, Deputy Assistant Operations Chief of Staff of the Army (Waasops Kasad), Chief of Staff of the Bukit Barisan Regional Military Command (Kasdam), Operations Director of the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas), and Principal Secretary of the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT). He concluded his decorated military service as the Commander of the Jakarta Military Region (Pangdam Jaya).
Following these pivotal changes in leadership, encompassing both the President Director and President Commissioner roles, Antam’s (ANTM) Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners have been formally restructured. The updated composition is presented below:
