Ayu Chairun Nurisa, identified as a former employee of Indonesian singer Ashanty, has been formally reported to the Polda Metro Jaya (Jakarta Metropolitan Police) on allegations of defamation. The report was filed by employees of PT Hijau Dipta Nusantara.
This legal action was initiated following significant financial and reputational losses incurred by PT Hijau Dipta Nusantara. These losses reportedly stemmed from Ayu’s claims that she was an employee of the company. However, PT HDN, co-owned by Erie Prasetyo—a business partner of Anang Hermansyah—asserts that Ayu was never officially registered on their payroll. Mangatta Toding Allo, legal counsel for PT HDN, emphasized that Ayu’s unsubstantiated claims directly harmed the company’s employees and management.
“We have officially reported Ms. Ayu for her actions that defamed the company, which in this case, caused detriment to the employees and its management,” stated Mangatta at Polda Metro Jaya on Tuesday, October 7.
The formal police report is registered under the number LP/B/7160/X/2025/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya, with Ayu facing suspected defamation charges. Mangatta further detailed the legal basis for the report, specifying, “Friends here can see, there is Article 45 paragraph 4 juncto Article 27a. We will also provide photos of this to friends. However, we ask for permission to conceal the identity of the complainants.” He added, “We cannot share the identity of the complainants yet as this information is quite private.”
Addressing further developments, Mangatta also revealed that Ayu’s legal team had made statements concerning their client’s employment status with PT HDN. Nevertheless, PT HDN strategically opted not to file a police report against Ayu’s lawyers. “Because they are granted immunity rights, we did not file a police report, but we will report them to their respective advocate organization,” Mangatta clarified, outlining the distinct course of action against the legal representatives.
