
JAKARTA — The Bisnis-27 index ended Tuesday’s trading session (April 28, 2026) in the red, slipping 0.38% to close at 469.16. The downward trend was primarily fueled by sell-offs in major constituents, including JPFA, AMRT, and DSNG.
According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the index—a collaborative benchmark between the exchange and Bisnis Indonesia—fluctuated between 465.84 and 473.60 throughout the day. Of the 27 index constituents, only eight stocks managed to maintain positive territory, while 19 others faced downward pressure.
PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. (JPFA) led the decline, plummeting 7.11% to finish at Rp2,350 per share. This bearish momentum was mirrored by other large-cap stocks: PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. (AMRT) fell 5.69% to Rp1,325, and PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk. (DSNG) dropped 4.84% to Rp1,170 per share.
The selling pressure extended to several other notable stocks. ADRO weakened by 3.98% to Rp2,410, MAPI shed 3.01% to close at Rp1,290, and MIKA slipped 2.94% to Rp1,980 per share.
Despite the broader downturn, select stocks showed resilience. BBNI climbed 1.88% to Rp3,790, BUMI rose 1.79% to Rp228, and PGEO gained 1.49% to reach Rp1,025 per share.
In tandem with the Bisnis-27 index, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed 0.48% lower at 7,072.39. Market activity remained robust, with 31.7 billion shares changing hands, resulting in a total transaction value of Rp17.3 trillion. By the closing bell, 339 stocks advanced, 350 declined, and 129 remained stagnant. The total market capitalization for the IHSG stood at Rp12,617 trillion.
