Previously, the Phintraco Sekuritas Research Team explained that, technically, the JCI (Jakarta Composite Index) remains in a bullish area in the short, medium, and long term, closing above the MA5, MA20, and MA50. The MACD indicator also remains in positive territory.
However, the Stochastic RSI is still in the overbought area, and the JCI is approaching the upper Bollinger Band, indicating that while the JCI is in a bullish area, it is also prone to profit-taking. Therefore, the JCI is expected to consolidate in the range of 8,350-8,450.
“If the JCI can stay above the 8,450 level with sufficient volume, it is expected to have the opportunity to move towards the psychological level of 8,500,” said Phintraco Sekuritas.
