PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRIS) has officially announced the distribution of cash dividends for the 2025 fiscal year. During the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) held on Tuesday (May 5), the company’s leadership confirmed a payout ratio of 20 percent of its total net profit, amounting to approximately Rp 1.51 trillion.

Anggoro Eko Cahyo, President Director of BSI, stated that the dividend has been set at Rp 32.81 per share. This payout represents a significant 44 percent increase compared to the previous year, during which the bank distributed 15 percent of its 2024 net profit, totaling Rp 1.05 trillion or Rp 22.78 per share.

Dividend Schedule and Allocation

According to Anggoro, the dividend will be distributed proportionally to all shareholders listed on the company’s official register by the designated recording date. While the specific disbursement schedule is yet to be announced, the management has been granted full authority to finalize the timeline and procedures for the payment.

“The Board of Directors has been authorized to determine the dividend distribution schedule and ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations regarding dividend deductions,” Anggoro noted on Wednesday (May 6).

Beyond the dividend payout, the remaining 80 percent of the 2025 net profit—totaling Rp 6.05 trillion—has been allocated as retained earnings to support the bank’s future operations and capital growth.

Strong Financial Growth in 2025

BSI’s ability to increase its dividend payout is underpinned by a robust financial performance throughout 2025. The bank outperformed national banking industry averages across several key metrics. Notably, Third-Party Funds (DPK) saw a significant year-on-year (yoy) growth of 16.20 percent, reaching Rp 380 trillion.

In terms of financial intermediation, BSI’s financing disbursement grew by 12.58 percent yoy to Rp 318 trillion. This figure notably outpaced the broader national banking sector’s financing growth of 7.74 percent, as well as the 7.67 percent growth seen within the Islamic banking segment.

This positive momentum contributed to an 8.02 percent yoy increase in net profit, which reached Rp 7.57 trillion for the year. By the end of December 2025, the company’s total assets had climbed to Rp 456 trillion, marking an 11.64 percent yoy growth and solidifying BSI’s position as a leader in the Indonesian financial landscape.
