This year’s dividend distribution marks a significant increase compared to the fiscal year 2024, which saw Rp1.05 trillion, or Rp22.78 per share, allocated to shareholders. The cash dividend represents 20% of BSI’s net profit for the fiscal year 2025, reflecting the bank’s robust financial health and commitment to its investors.

The remaining 80% of the profit, amounting to Rp6.05 trillion, will be allocated as retained earnings. This strategic allocation reinforces BSI’s financial strength, providing a solid foundation for future growth initiatives and operational resilience.

Anggoro Eko Cahyo, President Director of BSI, elaborated on the dividend payment process during a press conference on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. He affirmed that the distribution would adhere to all prevailing regulations. “Dividends for the fiscal year 2025 will be paid proportionally to all shareholders whose names are recorded in the share registry on the official recording date,” Anggoro stated.

He further explained that the board of directors has been granted the authority, with substitution rights, to finalize the dividend distribution schedule, manage tax deductions in accordance with tax laws, and oversee other technical arrangements as required. This ensures a smooth and compliant payout process for all eligible shareholders.

This generous dividend payout comes on the heels of BSI’s impressive financial performance in 2025. The bank recorded a robust net profit growth of 8.02% year-on-year (YoY), reaching Rp7.57 trillion, an increase from Rp7.00 trillion in the previous year. This substantial profit growth underscores the effectiveness of BSI’s strategic initiatives and market positioning.
