
The Indonesian stock market experienced a downturn throughout Wednesday (22/4) trading, ultimately closing with a marginal dip. According to Stockbit data, the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) underwent a correction despite significant trading activity across the board.
By the close of market, the IHSG had fallen by 17.77 points, or 0.24 percent, settling at the 7,541.61 level. Similarly, the LQ45 index also saw a considerable drop, plunging 1.05 percent to close at 735.97.
The total transaction value for the day reached an impressive IDR 17.44 trillion, with a substantial trading volume of 48.71 billion shares. Market participants engaged in a total of 2.93 million transactions, reflecting a busy trading session.
