Commenting on the upcoming changes, Head of Investment Specialist at Maybank Sekuritas, Fath Aliansyah Budiman, noted that rebalancing typically triggers capital inflows and outflows for the affected stocks. “The impact of the Bisnis-27 index rebalancing creates market rotations that investors can capitalize on,” he stated on Monday (4/27/2026).

Rully Wisnubroto, Head of Research at Mirae Asset Sekuritas, added that the inclusion of new issuers demonstrates both a rigorous selection process and an enhanced appeal for the index as a primary investment benchmark. “Fundamentally, we are closely monitoring the relatively solid performance and healthy trading activity of these new constituents,” he explained. According to Wisnubroto, these additions have the potential to strengthen aggregate profit growth and provide better sectoral diversification for investors. He specifically highlighted that BRMS and DEWA continue to offer compelling narratives within the commodity sector.
