“We sincerely apologize for this incident. Our current priority is to ensure that all passengers and crew receive the fastest and best possible care. We are also maintaining close coordination with all relevant parties on the ground,” said KAI Vice President of Corporate Communication, Anne Purba, in a statement released on Monday, April 27.

“We understand that this situation is causing great concern for our customers and the families awaiting news.
