With this latest acquisition, Lo Kheng Hong maintains his position as the third-largest shareholder in PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk. The company’s largest stake is held by Denham Pte Ltd, with a substantial 49.5% ownership, followed by Compagnie Financiere Michelin, which controls 10% of the shares.

Turning to the company’s financial health, PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk reported a robust performance for the full year 2025. The tire manufacturer achieved a net profit of Rp 1.24 trillion, marking a solid 5.08% increase from the previous year’s net profit of Rp 1.18 trillion.

Despite the commendable rise in net profit, the company experienced a slight contraction in its net sales, which decreased year-on-year (YoY) to Rp 17.66 trillion from Rp 18.02 trillion. This seemingly paradoxical outcome can be attributed, in part, to a reduction in the cost of revenue, which fell YoY from Rp 14.15 trillion to Rp 14.11 trillion. Crucially, the company also registered a significant turnaround in its foreign exchange position, recording a net gain of Rp 96.03 billion, a stark improvement from the substantial loss of Rp 34.79 trillion reported in the prior year.
