According to a filing with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the divestment involved 8,189,500 shares of SIMP. The transaction was executed in two separate tranches on April 14, 2026: 1,377,000 shares sold at Rp925 per share, followed by 6,812,500 shares at Rp920 per share.
Through these strategic sales, the investor—often dubbed the “Warren Buffett of Indonesia”—is estimated to have raked in approximately Rp7.54 billion in fresh capital. In his official statement to the IDX, Lo Kheng Hong clarified the motive behind the sale. “The transaction is a sale intended for profit-taking,” he confirmed on Saturday (April 25, 2026).
