The field inspection was conducted to verify system reliability and ensure that primary energy supplies are sufficient to meet the rising electricity demand of the public. According to the latest monitoring data, all key electrical parameters are currently stable, reflecting a robust power network.

“We have conducted a direct review of the electrical system on the ground. Our findings indicate that both operational system performance and primary energy supplies are well-positioned to support the public’s electricity needs,” Darmawan stated in an official release on Saturday, April 25.

PLN reports that 76 substations providing power to the Greater Jakarta area are currently operating at optimal capacity. This level of performance is critical for maintaining consistent energy distribution across various sectors, including government operations, business districts, and daily community activities.

To maintain this reliability, the power grid is monitored in real-time through dedicated load control centers. The UP2B for Jakarta and Banten serves as a vital command center, playing a pivotal role in regulating the electricity network within the region.

Beyond immediate monitoring, PLN has also strengthened its primary energy supply chain strategy through intensive coordination with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and key fuel suppliers. These proactive measures are designed to guarantee the long-term operational sustainability of the region’s power plants.
