Polri Tarik Pejabat Tingginya dari Kementerian UMKM

The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has proactively responded to Constitutional Court (MK) Decision Number 114/PUU/XXIII/2025, which addresses the placement of its members in roles outside the standard police organizational structure. To thoroughly examine the implications of this significant ruling, Polri has established a dedicated Working Group (Pokja).

“Polri holds the Constitutional Court’s decision in high regard,” stated Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Head of the Public Information Bureau for the Polri Public Relations Division, in a statement on Thursday (November 20). He further explained, “To that end, the National Police Chief has formed a Pokja tasked with conducting a swift and in-depth study. This ensures that the implementation of this ruling proceeds accurately and avoids any potential misinterpretations.”

This comprehensive study will involve extensive coordination and consultation with relevant ministries and institutions. The Pokja will also meticulously review the underlying principles governing the transfer of Polri members to positions outside the police force’s direct organizational framework, ensuring legal consistency and practical clarity.

Brigadier General Trunoyudo emphasized that the assignment of Polri members to external, non-structural roles is fundamentally a collaborative arrangement. Such assignments are invariably initiated by a formal request from ministries, institutions, agencies, commissions, or international organizations that require the specific expertise and personnel of the Indonesian National Police.

In a tangible demonstration of this policy adjustment, a high-ranking official, Inspector General Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, has been recalled. His return to the police environment is part of a reassignment aimed at fostering career development within Polri. “Based on these considerations, Polri is recalling a high-ranking officer who was in the process of orienting for a transfer to the Ministry of MSMEs, to return him to the Polri environment for career development purposes. This pertains to Inspector General Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono S.I.K M.Si., in accordance with the National Police Chief’s letter dated November 20, 2025,” Trunoyudo clarified.

He affirmed that the Pokja will maintain its simultaneous and intensive efforts to ensure that all steps taken by Polri are meticulously aligned with legal provisions and serve the paramount interests of the nation. “The Pokja team will continuously engage in coordination, collaboration, and consultation with relevant institutions. This underscores Polri’s unwavering commitment to consistently upholding legal decisions for the enduring benefit of the nation and state,” he concluded.
