Indonesian influencer Ria Ricis has opened up about her recent rhinoplasty procedure and how her daughter, Moana, reacted to her new appearance. Despite the noticeable changes, Ricis shared that Moana was not particularly stunned by her mother’s transformed look.
“Moana simply said, ‘Mommy is beautiful, Mommy is cute, Mommy is healthy.’ She has just accidentally hit my nose a few times while we were sleeping, which was quite a surprise,” Ricis recounted during an interview in Cilandak, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (May 27).
While some people have remarked that she looks different, Ricis remains unbothered by the feedback, noting that she is still in the middle of her recovery process. She acknowledged that the swelling has been significant, which may have contributed to people’s initial confusion.
“Perhaps people were surprised because it was still quite swollen at first. It has already started to subside now,” she explained. “It will eventually return to its intended shape as the swelling continues to go down. I understand why people might think, ‘She looks different, she looks different,’ but it is all part of the healing journey.”
Ria Ricis clarified that the nose surgery, which was performed abroad, was primarily motivated by health concerns. Before the procedure, she frequently suffered from respiratory issues; however, she now reports that those breathing problems have been resolved since the operation.

“I don’t even hold my own ATM cards, so I am not aware of exactly how much I spent or how much I earn. As long as there is enough for my child to eat, that is already something I am incredibly grateful for,” she concluded.
