The tragic passing of a family of four during a glamping trip in the Posong tourist area of Temanggung, Central Java, has left their relatives and neighbors in deep mourning. The victims have been identified as the father, Muhamad Ali Munawar (52), the mother, Maghfirah (43), their eldest son, Bagas Amar Hakiki (21), and their youngest child, Alvino Evan Hakim (16).
Since Thursday afternoon (May 28), the family home in Kebumen Village, Banyubiru District, Semarang Regency, has been filled with grieving relatives and friends waiting for the arrival of the bodies.
Yuliana, a relative of the victims, remembered the family for their immense generosity, noting that they had recently participated in the Qurban ritual during Eid al-Adha. “They were wonderful, incredibly generous people. They always participated in Qurban; just recently, they donated two goats,” Yuliana shared while at the funeral home on Thursday.

Beyond their charitable nature, the family was known for being family-oriented. Yuliana revealed that they had recently completed renovations on their parents’ home, specifically designed to create a more comfortable space for family gatherings. “They just finished renovating the back of the house to create a casual seating area, all to make it more comfortable when everyone gets together,” she explained.
The family was well-regarded for their consistent willingness to help those in need, leaving their community in a state of profound shock. “They were truly kind, so very kind. I am still in disbelief; it feels like just yesterday I saw them, and they were all so healthy,” Yuliana said, visibly moved.
The sense of loss extends beyond the family circle to the friends of the children. Lala, a classmate of the youngest victim, Alvino, expressed her heartbreak over the sudden tragedy. “He was a genuinely good person. I received the news of his passing last night,” she said.
